Ms. Blessy Paul P, Research Scholar at the School of Computer Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, has been awarded the Best Paper Award at the 1st International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Computing (ICDSAC 2023), held at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on 23–24 June 2023.

She received this recognition for her outstanding research paper titled “Evaluating Impact of Skill Oriented Courses on Women Empowerment Using Machine Learning.” The paper was highly appreciated for its relevance, innovative approach, and contribution to advancing research in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Greeshma M S

Dr. Greeshma M. S., from the School of Computer Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, has been honored with the Best Paper Award at the 4th International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Communication (ICICC-2020), organized by Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, from 18th to 20th September 2020.

She received this recognition for her paper titled “An Integrated Approach for Building Footprint Extraction from Satellite Imagery” (Paper ID: 210), which was highly appreciated for its innovation and research contribution.

Dr. Greeshma M S has been an integral part of the School’s academic journey. She completed her M.Sc. (2013–2015) and M.Phil. (2016) at the School of Computer Sciences, later serving as a Research Assistant. She successfully completed her Ph.D. in 2025 from the same institution, carrying forward the School’s legacy of excellence in research and innovation.
