The School of Computer Sciences (SOCS), Mahatma Gandhi University, was established in 1990
with the objective of imparting higher education and research in the field of Computer Science
to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals.
Over the last three decades, the School has gained a strong reputation as an advanced centre
for postgraduate learning and research in frontier areas of Computer Science.
Its programmes focus on strengthening students’ knowledge across diverse areas of Computer Science
while exposing them to the challenges of developing computer systems.
B.Sc. in Computer Science / Computer Application / BCA or any other B.Sc Degree /
B.Tech with Computer Science or Allied Areas as main subject with not less than 50% marks in Part III.
Admission will be solely based on the Rank List prepared as per the score obtained
in the Common Admission Test (CAT).

Part I – Graduate Level Computer Science (30 Questions)
Part II – Logical Reasoning & Numerical Ability (30 Questions)
Graduate Level Computer Science, Logical Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
