INTERFACE is the flagship technical fest organized by the School of Computer Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, since its inception in 1996. It stands as a proud testament to the institution’s long-standing commitment to academic excellence, technical innovation, and the vibrant synergy between knowledge and collaboration.
The name INTERFACE goes beyond just a term from computer science—it signifies connections:
In every sense, INTERFACE is a dynamic platform where generations meet, ideas evolve, and collaborations flourish.
Since its beginning, INTERFACE has been meticulously conducted with professionalism and passion. Each edition of the fest has served as a launchpad for young innovators and a celebration of technological spirit. It has featured:
One of the hallmarks of INTERFACE has been the release of the technical magazine IT Glimpse—a curated publication that showcases cutting-edge research, student contributions, industry insights, and creative explorations in computing.
INTERFACE is conducted under the leadership of the Computer Science Students’ Association (CSSA), a vibrant student body that takes full charge of organizing the event. Students form dedicated committees covering all aspects of the fest—from event planning and logistics to media, hospitality, and outreach.
This student-driven model enhances leadership, teamwork, and real-world project management experience. The fest also enjoys unwavering support from our alumni network, who contribute financially, offers technical insights, and provides valuable moral support.
Notably, the festival concludes with a heartfelt Alumni Meet, providing a wonderful opportunity for past graduates to reconnect, relive memories, and engage with the current student community.
Like many global events, INTERFACE experienced an unexpected break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This pause, however, has only strengthened our resolve to bring it back with greater vigor, relevance, and inclusivity.
As we look ahead, INTERFACE is being reimagined and revived, not just as a fest but as a movement—bridging generations, ideas, and disciplines. It will continue to serve as a space where the curious become creators, where innovation is celebrated, and where the spirit of collaboration thrives.
Stay tuned as INTERFACE returns to redefine how we connect, compete, and create.
Let us interface again.
