Mahatma Gandhi University ACM Students Chapter is an official ACM student’s chapter founded on January 4, 2021. We are a team of enthusiastic, creative, curious, ambitious people seeking the experience of the professional environment. We started this chapter to develop our skills and gain knowledge to advance our profession and make a positive impact. This Chapter has 59 active members. The chief chapter officers are Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Web Master, Membership Chair, and Faculty Sponsor and each of them has major responsibilities.
The chapter aims at serving as a vibrant hub of activities for the computing network at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, where enthusiasts meet, interact and learn from each other. The chapter also focuses to build a network of coders and professionals, to offer resources to young aspiring minds to shape their future. The chapter plans various events which include lecture series, technical workshops, technical talk, conferences etc.
