Introduction

The School of Computer Sciences (SOCS), Mahatma Gandhi University, has recorded a
notable academic achievement in the UGC NET JRF – Computer Science Examination (January 2026).
Several students from different batches successfully qualified the examination,
demonstrating the strong academic foundation and research orientation fostered by the department.

The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) is one of the most competitive national level
examinations conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for
Assistant Professor positions and admission to doctoral research programmes
in universities and higher education institutions across India.

A total of six students from SOCS successfully qualified the UGC NET JRF – Computer Science examination.
